Great Product for a Shade Tree Mechanic

As a person who only occasionally dabbles in automotive restoration, the prospect of repainting my car within my budget seemed daunting. As a fan of historic car finishing, I was not interested in a two step clear coat process. I did, however, want a durable finish that takes advantage of modern paint technology. This is where Hot Rod Flatz Matte Satin Urethane presented me with an amazing option. The selection of colors is quite amazing. Having virtually no experience painting cars, this two step urethane is quite easy to use and the results are very eye catching. The satin finish is also quite forgiving, making minor flaws in painting virtually unnoticeable. I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in giving an affordable facelift to old 4WD vehicles.

durable, perfect color

After painting a CJ dash with Transport Green and not liking the color, I got this Olive Drab. Really like this color better. And the flat hides any orange peel if any. As well and any novice painter flaws. The paint is durable. Hit the previous color with a hammer to fix a missed dent, no chips. If there is any complaint, it that there is no color chips available. Seriously, TCP, color chips!!!!
