LOW VOC URETHANE FLAT CLEAR, 1 Quart

Urethane Flat Klear (FC21) is a Low VOC, flat finish clearcoat that can be used over all solvent-based basecoats. This clear sprays easily and dries quickly. Just mix with KUF21 Catalyst and you’re ready-to-spray.

FC21 is desigend to produce a 5? - 15? gloss level.

1. COMPONENTS • FC21 Flat Klear • KUF21 Flat Klear Katalyst

2. MIXING RATIO (6:1 by volume) For 2.1 lb/gal (250 g/L) Low VOC Compliance – (6:1 by Volume) • 6 parts FC21 Flat Klear • 1 part KUF21 Flat Klear Katalyst

3. POT LIFE • 4-5 hours @ 70° F / 21°C.

4. CLEAN UP • Use KC10 Wax & Grease Remover, KC20 Post Sanding Cleaner.

5. ADDITIVES • N/A

6. SURFACE PREPARATION • Allow the final coat of basecoat to dry to touch prior to applying clearcoat. • Use a tack cloth to remove any surface contaminates that may have settled on the basecoat.

7. SUBSTRATES • House of Kolor basecoat system.

8. APPLICATION • Apply 2 even wet coats at 40-50 psi, allowing a 10-15 minute flash time between coats. NOTE: Wet coats produce more gloss. Dry coats produce a flat finish.

9. FLASH / DRY TIMES AIR DRY @ 77°F Flash Between Coats 15 Minutes To Deliver 16 - 24 Hours NOTE: Flash / dry time will vary by temperature.
