Good Stuff

I’ve used this primer about 15 times and find it easy to mix and it sprays great. Good price too. I’m no professional and haven’t tried many other epoxy primers but I prefer this one. I use Restoration shop paint and clear as well.

Did some research before purchasing and found that this primer was highly recommended and now I see why. Easy to use and covers very well. Would definitely recommend and will purchase again!

The Beginner

Ok, first try with epoxy , needed to go over hood and old paint and clear without sanding down to bare metal.

So i tried this epoxy, I sanded the clear coat then filled imperfections and deep chips did the body filler then sprayed this over all that. first coat at 1 to 1 was thick so I reduced using a urethane reducer and second coat smoothed out, I let dry for 2 days, then sanded it all with 320 and applied a high build primer over everything. and sanded 320 then wet 400. keep in mind this was one chipped up hood with previous paint job. then I based 3 coats color then 3 coats clear. the base was smooth but my clear had a very even orange peel through out. still learning, a little scared to cut and buff, because it shines beautifully.

Awesome product!

Great stuff for coverage. Half a gallon did an entire 57 Chevy 4 door and I didn’t go light.
