I really like this elf etching primer. It is easy to spray lays down very nice, and it is certainly a bonus that it is pre-mixed. Easy enough to mix components, but just a step or two saved, and that is always appreciated.

Although I am a novice painter, I very much like the quality and user friendliness of all of the Restoration and Custom Shop products I have used to now. In fact, I have been told by a few people that you should NEVER do your first paint job with a metallic pearl base coat clear coat type of paint, as there are too many things to go wrong- including tiger striping the metal flake from lack of agitation and poor overlap.

Well, as always, I did not heed the "Warning" and that was exactly what I used: Fire Red Pearl on my 68 Camaro. My very first paint job to include painted on white SS stripes prior to clear coat. Because the Restoration Shop and Custom Shop products were so easy to use, it turned out very nice- and we are on 10 years or so later now!!! (Needs a re-paint now though).
