Dark Brown paint is hard to find. So many brown samples have red even purple hues. Thus Dark Brown is exactly what I was looking for. I used a grey epoxy then grey 2K primers for a base. I would guess a black primer might make it appear even darker.
The dark brown urethane base coat is the perfect brown I’ve been searching for over the past couple of years. Most browns are too red or purple leaning. This is a true brown. I’m a first time auto painter, and probably only this once, but I hope my classic truck turns out good enough for my daily driver.
