Master Economy E96 Single-Action External Mix Siphon Feed Airbrush Set with 0.5mm Tip Broad Spray Pattern & 5 ft. Air Hose

I started airbrushing with one of these on 1/48 airplane models. Moved on to ww2 German armor and had to upgrade from canned air to compressor and more capable airbrushes, but this one I made into a blowgun. I ultrasonic my double-action and ran out of canned computer air! Now what? I need a blowgun so engineered one out of what I had. Broke that one, missed the one I had, got E96 to make a new one. Once you have one you'll be using it all the time.

This is my first air brush. First tried it with thinned latex hi-gloss enamel. I had to thin it quite a bit. Even then the tip clogs every 1 or two minutes during use. I just kept wiping it off and spraying water through, using the large bottle for water, it to clear it. It took quite a while to spray about 1 square foot of a sample piece of wood with an adequately thick coating. But it did work. Next I tried some thinned acrylic craft paint on the same already painted sample. That worked quite well. Cleaning was very easy because there are only a few small parts to clean. Lastly I used it to spray clear satin and high gloss Polycrylic. I had to thin it just a little. That worked out great. I put about 6 coats of Polycrylic on a set of DIY wooden, stained drawer pulls. That worked out extremely well and the airbrush was extremely easy to clean. I played around only a little using it the way artists use an air brush, drawing lines, dots and fading effects etc. I actually bought it to use instead of buying spray cans of petroleum based paint for small things.
