I purchased this spray gun with a 2.5 tip for use as a flake shooter but decided to see how it did on a base... It sprayed out a beautiful atomized fan so I used it to shoot the clear and it did a wonderful job. Ths gun is by far the best budget spray gun I've tried. The controls are very sensitive so make small adjustments. I just ordered another one today along with some extra tips and rebuild kits.

I used the PRO-33 Series HVLP Paint Gun the first time today. I repainted a fender and door for a Jeep Grand Cherokee after and accident. I am not a professional and haven’t painted for about 10 years; this gun is so easy to setup and use. I used the 1.4 tip for the primer and the base coats and the 1.3 Tip for the clear. Having the 3 tip selection is extremely helpful. This gun sprays very fine and the paint goes extremely smooth and the clear looks like glass. Cleanup is very easy, and the push on lid on the cup works great (I was concerned about that) and does not leak and drip paint on the gun or the work piece like some of the twist on caps. I would highly recommend this paint gun; it is a great investment especially with the cost of the other painting supplies and the time involved in correcting issues. This is of the best purchase I’ve ever made when it comes to painting.
