    Nice gun for the money spent

    I originally got the 2.5 tip gun as I needed something to spray hi-build primer. Disappointed in the results- rough like a golf ball, took lots of sanding. The issue was my ignorance in choosing the wrong tip/needle set up.

    I came back to TCP and found they made the gun in a kit with the 2.5 and a 1.8 tip. Hmmm, I wonder of they have a 1.8 conversion kit? By golly they do! I bought the kit and now? Hi-build lays flat as can be, Can be sanded starting with 400 grit. Way less material on the floor and less sanding. Perfect.

    I'm going to try the 2.5 for spraying RaptorLiner bed coating. Should work well.

    The only thing I dont care for about this spray gun is the side fan control. Too easy to bump it when spraying off angle , but can tape it in position. The big cup is a bonus
