  • 1 Gallon Restoration Shop Urethane Basecoat Color Only. No urethane reducer is included with this gallon of paint color, but urethane reducer is required to be mixed with the paint color before it can be sprayed or used.
  • UB paint color has a 2 to 1 mixing ratio when it's used with along with urethane reducer. The required half-gallon of urethane reducer is not included, but is available separately or in kits along with the UB paint color and clearcoat.

    DIY user got professional results

    I am quite pleased with this basecoat product despite struggles with read through. My fault came from sanding through sealer coat to expose absorbant primer underneath. I repeated the basecoat to get consistent color. The gallon I got with the "kit" was not near enough to accommodate my redos and spillage. Ended up needing 1.5 gallons altogether risking a good color match. I bought a second gallon for reserve in case of future need. (Cost of 2 qts is as much as another gallon.) They do not supply enough of any of the materials in the "kit" as far as I experienced. Buy more up front and save shipping.
