High Solids Urethane Spot & Panel Repair Clearcoat with a 4 to 1 Mixing Ratio
UP2892 is a HS two component acrylic urethane coating with Nanoparticulate technology which is the essential key in obtaining scratch resistant surfaces (SRC). Plus, it gives the clear a rubber-like elasticity as well as minimizing interaction between individual polymeric chains. Making UP2892 very resistant to rock chips, dust abrasion and normal weathering.
Features & Benefits:
- Easy to apply with excellent flow and non-sag properties.
- Hardens rapidly to give a high build U.V resistant coating.
- Excellent gloss and long term durability.
- Can be air dried, low baked or I.R. cured.
- Can be easily polished once cured.
Nano Particulate Clear Features:
- The SRC resins provide improved scratch and abrasion resistance
- Deep wet-look gloss and transparency
- 72 hour buff window
- Barrier against gases, water and solvents
- Increased weather resistance (acid rain)
- Reduced shrinkage and heat reaction
- Improved adhesion to ALL substrates
- Better dirt resistance
- HS ... Higher solids
- Solvent and Waterborne compatible

Additives:
Accelerator - If an accelerator is needed, use our Rocket (UP2000-UP0735) follow directions on use.
Fish Eye - The use of fish eye eliminator is strongly discouraged. If a fish eye additive is needed, use UP2001. Use no more than Necessary as it will directly affect the flow.
Painting Flexible Parts - An additive is not required for any flexible substrate
Blending - Dry edges can be blended in with Fade Out (UP2433).
