Prior to the development of quick change connectors, modelers and other professionals who used an airbrush or paint gun, would have to unscrew their hoses from the fittings on the airbrush or paint gun; taking up valuable time when trying to complete project or job. These fittings are absolutely awesome. They make it much simpler to move a long in your project without a hiccup and save time.
They make swapping between different airbrushes set up for painting extremely fine lines or laying down heavy base coats of primer a breeze. I never realized how tedious it was to unscrew my air hose from one airbrush to connect to another airbrush until I purchased these connectors. They can be described with just one word-AWESOME! I am extremely happy with them and they make working on a project so much easier, when I need to swap out airbrushes. I highly recommend them to any hobbyist or professional who use an airbrush. You will not be disappointed.
A word of note. I’ve read comments from people who were unhappy with quick disconnect fittings. Their may complaint was the experiencing of air leaks between the connections. As with any connection, you will want to use Teflon tape or Plumbers tape, as it is more commonly known, on the fitting. As it will prevent leaks. One can walk into any maintenance shop and look at the fittings on any impact tool in any mechanics took box; you will find they have Teflon tape on them. So, please do not be discouraged about a decision to use these…
