Dura-Gold Premium Black Dry Guide Coat Kit, 7 Ounces (200 Grams) - Powder that Instantly Highlights Auto Bodyshop Repair Surface Imperfections Defects

USA OWNED & OPERATED
Since 1974
- Dura-Gold premium black dry guide coat cartridge with applicator pad kit. Extra-large 7 ounce (200 grams) size. Several times more guide powder than other brands contain.
- Instantly identify scratches, body filler pinholes, and other surface defects. Saves time and labor by preventing over-sanding and minimizing the re-work of a repair.
- No aerosols, no solvents, no over-spray, and no masking. Dry guide coat works by giving a black contrast to the surface which identifies any defects, and the defects only will be removed during the sanding process. Dry guide coat works with either wet or dry sanding methods.
- Application instructions: Taking hold of the tab, remove the inner strip that seals the powder in the cartridge. Replace the applicator pad back into the cartridge.
- Using both hands, hold the applicator pad against the cartridge, flip them over and shake them up and down several times, then twist the applicator from side to side in the cartridge to ensure that the face of the sponge is coated evenly with the black powder. The applicator pad can now be wiped over the repair surface. Apply the black powder to reveal surface defects.

Dura-Gold Premium Black Dry Guide Coat Works Great
Dura-Gold Premium Black Dry Guide Coat works as it is supposed to. It makes it easy to find and scratches left when block sanding before sealer. It looks like it will last a long time.
Guiding
First time using dry guide coat, works pretty well. The surface needs to be fairly smooth, doesn’t work great over fresh unsanded surfacer primer, but once you’ve sand through a bit it works good. Will last a lot longer than the spray can guide coat..
Dura-Gold Guide Coat
My first time to use a dry guide coat. I’m hooked! Excellent product.
Great stuff
I used this on all the panels on my c10. I like it because its instant unlike the spray version and wont clog the paper. It's basically like a black chalk powder if you haven't seen it before. Highly recommended. It lasts quite a while usually get through a couple vehicles on one can.
Great product
Works great. I guide coated a full size Ford Bronco 4 different times. There is enough product left to probably do two more full size Broncos 4 times each vehicle.
You will be covered in black dust when it is done but it is very effective at identifying imperfections
