I am restoring a 1955 Chevy Bel Air convertible. I’m installing all new floors and wanted to have a matte finished red oxide paint for the underneath of the car to match the factory application. I used this Hotrod, flat mat red oxide paint and it looks absolutely fantastic! It’s better than using a primer because primer doesn’t always hold up over the years. This paint applied over an epoxy primer base should last for many many many years. Highly recommend this to anyone doing the same kind of project.
