I had not painted anything with a paint gun in over 15 years and I was a novice then. It’s much easier to look up how to mix paint now and how to dial in pressure .
I wanted some wheels to kind of match the factory color of my 58 Chevy, these are very close. This was painted with a smaller 4oz hobo, freight cheap $15 paint gun and I was really surprised how well it came out. I did add reducer so it’s 4:1:1. My friends that paint for a living were impressed.
Hopefully it’s durable I could’ve went cheap and just painted. These wheels rattled can black and this was more time-consuming, but I wanted to get into the practice of painting again. 28-32 psi this lays down nicely
