I'm used to using shop air with a mix of a heavy air hose coupled to an air filter and regulator clamped to the nearest table, and then coupled to the airbrush hose. I purchased this little compressor and tank to eliminate all that and am very pleased with what I got.
Although I haven't had a chance to use it with my airbrush yet, I did test it's ability to hold a constant level of pressure under various conditions and it did very well. It is compact, quiet, as advertised, and with the built in handle, very convenient to use wherever you can plug it in. No more being tied to shop air and long hoses. For me, this is a major improvement over what I struggled with before.
