The adapters convert above-ground pools with 1.25" (32mm) clamp-on fittings to 1.5" (38mm) screw-on fittings. These high-quality B-type adapters resolve hose size diameter compatibility issues when connecting hoses to pool filter pumps.
  • Filter Pump Upgrade: Adapter A and B conversion connectors are necessary when upgrading to a larger or better pool filter pump system. They are ideal for upsizing your filter pump system from weaker lower water flow 530 to 1,000 gallons/hour pumps to more powerful high water flow filter pump systems that are 1,500, 2,000, 2,500, or 4,000 gallons/hour that use threaded hose connections. Use the adapters with sand filters and saltwater systems.
  • Compatible Replacement Converters: These Adapter A and B Converters are compatible as a replacement part for the Intex 29061E Type B Converter. These adapters are compatible to connect to Intex 1,500, 2,000, 2,500, or 4,000 gallons/hour pool filter pumps, pool hoses, hoses to plunger valves, A-type adapters, and other pool fitting connection parts. Larger pumps generally require the connection of two B adapters.
